Chad Bond rejoins Port Talbot

Bond, Chad

Chad Bond returns for a second spell at the GenQuip stadium.

Port Talbot Town can confirm former striker Chad Bond has rejoined the club.

The well-travelled striker moves to the GenQuip stadium following a spell in the United States with LA Blues, having
formerly featured for a host of clubs including Newport County, Neath and Llanelli.

Bond originally joined the Steelmen in 2006 from Swansea City, where he enjoyed a successful 18-month stint before returning to the Liberty Stadium later following the appointment of Roberto Martinez. He would later have loan spells in both Spain
and Sweden with CF Balaguer and Ostersunds FK respectively.

The 25-year-old has already been training with the Port Talbot squad prior to signing and could be in Scott Young’s matchday squad to face Bala Town next Saturday at the GenQuip stadium.
